Lieutenant General Samuel Findlay Clark CBE, CD (1909–1998) was a Canadian soldier and Chief of the General Staff, the head of the Canadian Army from 1958 until 1961. ==Education== Clark received his early education in Winnipeg〔(Who's who in Canada ), Volume 58 edited by Charles Whately Parker, Barnet M. Greene〕 and attended the University of Manitoba, graduating with a degree in electrical engineering (BSc EE) in 1932.〔(Robert Engen, "Army Biography," Canadian Army Journal, Volume 11, No.2, Summer 2008 (pp. 93–95). )〕 He subsequently attended the University of Saskatchewan to obtain a degree in mechanical engineering (BSc ME) in 1933.〔
